60 Seconds and Beyond.

  Well, little by little I have been able to work and process most of the 1000 images I captured during my sun- loving-warm-wonderful trip to the Fl, Keys. After reviewing them again and again, I realized that they are mostly surreal like. Even the ones I took under a Realistic approach, I ended up trying to process them differently.
  Maybe I am gearing more toward a path I am unaware of just yet, we will see, is too early too tell.

  I am posting today a few images I took in the pitch black dark, by the pier that our little Motel had,no flash at all, most of them have more than 60 seconds exposure, sure they tend to be very grainy, but I like the silk-like texture the sea has, and take a look at the Heron that was in the pier in the middle of the Night, very interesting.

These ones have not stopped amazing me, they are intense, dark, ghastly, intriguing...

I don't know, I just really look at them intensively trying to comprehend the dynamics of his work....

Sometimes. Oil on Canvas+Photography+ a Bunch of Different Stuff...

Sometimes, I just deviate from my regular photography skin, and try to print and press a little bit more manipulated images; for whatever reason, I always end up with ideas that look a little bit frantic, a little bit busy, a little bit.....out somewhere...

A While Back

 During last summer, I was out on the streets of downtown with my camera in hand, it was a rather hot night; and people were walking, talking, laughing, cars driving by,  lots of movement around me, hard to concentrate on what to photograph...
 Out of all those lights came an idea on how to put order to the activity, how to conceive geometrical halos....Here it is what came up from that thought, a series that somewhat has been very successful for commercial and exhibit purposes. Hope you like these images.

The Detour

 Well ,we missed the exit......; we were starving and already have been driving for 4 hours;  We were wanting to have a good solid breakfast; and realized that the missed exit was the last rest stop in the Turnpike for at least 45 more miles!!! rumbling......
  And all of a sudden we see this exit, with no sign other than a gas station; and said (screw it we will grab a snack and continue until the next rest stop), well as soon as you go through the toll, all vegetation disappeared and we found ourselves in a dessert like type of place, in the middle of Florida!!, drove a little bit more and came to a fork on the road; well, we got to a very peculiar place where we were able to enjoy a very homemade breakfast...The Dessert Inn.

  The Dessert Inn is located in YeeHaw Junction , Fl, and it got added to the  U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

The Wish of Warmth and Light.

 This is the time of the year where my whole entity cries out for the return of the worshiped sun; my strongest desires are encapsulated to get the spring here quickly enough. I have been massively busy these last couple of weeks; for all good reasons; my efforts in the photography front are starting to pay off; and finally yesterday after a string of several gloomy days, we had a break in the clouds; a glorious sunny day that found me indoors  resting somewhat from all the craziness, I was experiencing the most wonderful feeling of serenity.

 From my room window I can have full extent view of the creek that runs along my house; it is running hard from all the rain, incredibly soothing melody; I just let the light in, had it as a guest, and sat down to enjoy it; it was a peaceful moment, I was absolutely elated; could not resist the temptation to visually document it.

  Are any of you missing the sun yet?

Kindred Spirits

They do not need an introduction.
Being unknown is not a boundary.
Simplicity surrounds them all, that is the beauty they posses within their spirits.
That bounds them, even if it is for  few minutes.
